Water usage...

I know, this blog is pretty much dead.  But I couldn't resist this one...
Hamilton just brought in their (pretty much) annual water restrictions that happen somewhere around the beginning of each year.  According to this story, Hamilton's residents normally use around 357L per person per day.  That has recently spiked up to around 500L as it's finally got dry for the summer and people have been watering gardens.  That sounded rather high to me, so I checked what Brisbane's numbers are: according to this, Brisbane residents used 163L per person per day over the entire past year.  Quite a difference, isn't it!
